TrilbyWorks I love drawing monsters and these were some of the first I’ve ever done and the only ones I’ve ever drawn from real life models. Yes, you read that right: real life models! Real life stuffie plushy hand sewn with felt and faux fur monster friends. As seen below.
One of the problems in drawing from real life models is that it’s hard to get the little stinkers to hold still. However, I persevered and, over the course of a few months, managed to capture several of the little cuties.
I entering the pattern above into the “Boy Wonder” challenge at Spoonflower and was happy to come in 20th place out of 477 entries. Yay. Of course, I had to make a collection, some of which are here:
I’ve since done more monsters that you can see here and more space designs which you can see here. Some of these little guys managed to escape their patterns and live here on this website. See if you can find them all!
